App doesnt work in iPhone 6 Plus, the size is not compatible. Please fix it!

I really like Røde Sound and having it on an iPhone is awesome! But to charge you extra for the Software is really annoying. Its like buying a Mac and Not getting OS X even though it just Runs OS X...

Lots of trouble with this software! Still not professional. I lost some unique recordings. The iXY sounds great and works perfect with other apps, eg TwistedWave!

As your LE-Files wont show up in the new app. That sucks. A LOT.

The app cant be used at all, record buttons disappear made of a major display bug. This happens also in the free version of rode rec le. Ipad air.

App crashes quite often, sharing (=transferring) function is very, very basic and not working reliable. Come on, this is just NOT what I am expecting for a) 5,99 and b) from Røde. I guess I will have to return this app

I bought the app and the Rode Smartlav mic but I didnt know if the quality was good... And just blow up my expectations! Best mic and app ever to record speeches, podcasts, etc! Its perfect for low budget recording and for back up in you film weddings! Or even as main mic! I am really happy with this product and I am thinking to buy more Rode Smartlav mics! GOOD WORK GUYS! I recommend everyone to buy this, for the price and quality. Its the best out there!

This app has done me well. Ive recorded professional ads and documentary with this app with their lav mice plugged into my iPhone and iPad.

The website support faq says nothing to have this expensive app be able to play your recordings Save your money R0de says call apple and they say call credit card company.......no refund

Granted, when this app worked it worked great, paired with the Rode Lavel mic I paid $80 (so why the hell should I pay another $5???) I bought it anyways. Now it will stop recording when I wake it from sleep, wont export my files, keeps crashing, super buggy. When youre shooting video, you dont have the time or the takes to deal with crap technology. If youre going to develop an app like this to be used with $80 hardware, I dont expect bugs. Because of it I lost 50 minutes of recording from an interview. Stick to developing good hardware and technology, and dont brand crap like this.

Just downloaded it today, though I dont have the iXY it still works like a champ. I would probably get the iXY if they made one for the new input style. But it is still an amazing audio recording and editing tool.

the rec app crashes on trying to export or share large files. rendering the app and the $80.00 mic USELESS

I currently have an hour long recording Im trying to export out of the app, but the app keeps crashing. Otherwise, looks great!

It seems like a good app, but it constantly crashes on me. Especially if I sleep the phone while recording, my whole phone has to reboot. Please fix!

Outstanding!, especially with an iPad and a high quality mic. Defiantly the best field, all around great recorder I could find. Keep up the good work!

I open it, it doesnt display. Minimize windows, and there it is. Touch the app window, and it disappears from view again. Ive never owned a buggy app before, so doubly irritating.

1 needs google drive support 2 needs more detailed date and time sorting. 3 It is a little counter intuitive having a mic button at bottom left when the plus sign creates a new recording. Change the icon to a gear or similar symbol. 4 The configure sample rate and settings should be within the same menu on the front menu. 5 there is a slight delay in starting a recording. 6 formatting of name date location is cramped, it should be spaced out because they clip into each other causing text to overlap. These are minor adjustments for the most part. Also should be an x to clear prefix for renaming session. 7 doesnt tell you format when exporting and transcoding. I will recommend the app to others when the changes are implemented and change my review to 5 stars.

I really wish there was a way to know exactly the time and date a given snippet of audio was recorded. Ideally Id love to have the time of day embedded into a timecode track along with the audio track, but Id settle for a time marker at the beginning of every snippet. At the *very least* can we at least have hh:mm:ss instead of hh:mm into the file name of the recording? This would make syncing multiple recorders (or cameras) so much easier! Otherwise, so far, great app!!

The current version does not appear to be compatible with iOS 8. There is no longer any audio signal from either the built-in iPad mic or an external source attached to the Lightning connector. I really love the app, but until there is a fix it is not very useful on iOS 8.0.2

So the LE version is compatible with the older IOS devices like my Iphone3GS, so I decided to buy it and now I cant use it because it requires me to buy a new iphone... What a waist of money, wish i could refund...
